Es musste ja so kommen: Auch die schönste Strickerei geht dem Ende entgegen.Da liegt er nun, die Raglanschrägen bereits geschlossen, die entsprechenden Fäden vernäht.
Fragt mich nicht, wie viele Fäden vernäht werden müssen. Ich habe einen Teil gezählt und schätze die gesamt Summe auf 650!Auch wenn mir niemand glauben mag: Mir macht das Vernähen der Fäden gar nichts. Vielleicht liegt es daran, dass ich als Kind und Jugendliche sehr viel gestickt habe.
SMOULDER is almost finished. Yesterday I carefully pressed the pieces with my iron and then started the sewing work. I closed the raglan edges back stitching. At the same time I sewed in about 150 of estimated 650 strands...Does anyone belives me when I say I don't mind sewing in the strands? As a kid, I used to love embroidery, and this sort of sewing is quite similar. And SMOULDER is worth all the work!
