Diese Socken habe ich seit Oktober auf den Nadeln gehabt. Am Sonntag sind sie fertig geworden. Ursprünglich waren sie für mich gedacht, dann für meine Mama  - schließlich aber wurden sie gestern einer Freundin als nachträgliches Geburtstagsgeschenk überreicht.
Als ich vor knapp zwei Jahren zum ersten Mal dieses Sockengarn von Zitron verstrickte, war ich nicht sehr begeistert, und auch heute verstricke ich es nicht übermäßig gern. Aber die Färbungen gefallen mir sehr und die Socken halten recht gut. Insofern gehört das Garn mittlerweile zu einem meiner Lieblingssockengarnen.

I’ve been knitting this socks for ages, but finally I finished them on Sunday. Back in october, I wanted them to warm up my feet, then I thought, my mom would love them – finally, I presented the socks as a birthday goodie to a good friend yesterday. 
About two years ago, in the first days of my sockknitter career, I used Trekking XXL forn the first time: I disliked the yarn, and still I don’t fancy touching it. But I love the shades of Trekking XXL degradé, at least some of them, and the socks are quite durable and the yarn has became one of my favourite sock yarns.
